Tai Ahom Development Council, Assam is inviting online and offline applications from all the

Graduate & Final Year UG Students of Tai Ahom community of Assam for admission into the General

Studies Intensive Foundation FREE COACHING Batch for UPSC/APSC for Civil Services

Examinations and other government exams. The selection for coaching cum training program for

UPSC/APSC 2024-2025 will be selected on the basis of the Merit List of the Entrance Examination.

The course will consist of both Prelims and Mains preparation.

Meritorious students will be selected who will be given their seats in a reputed institute in Guwahati with

good results and previous experience of providing APSC coaching in collaboration with Government.

Students will be selected for both APSC and UPSC coaching in Guwahati and Delhi respectively. The

entrance exam will be conducted in 5 districts in Assam, viz, Sivsagar, Golaghat, Dibrugarh, Dhemaji,

Kamrup (M).

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE PROGRAMME

1. Release of Advertisement-30th May,2024(Thrusday)

2. Opening date of online and offline application-30^thMay, 2024(Thrusday)

3. Closing date of online application – 12th June ,2024 (Wednesday)

4. Eligibility criteria- Graduate students from Tai Ahom Community of Assam

5. Documents to be submitted – Passportsize photo, Community/Caste Certificate, BPL Certificate(if any), EWS Certifinate(If any), Graduation Marksheet (Final Semester UG Students can also Apply), Class XII and Class X marksheets, I’D proof, Address Proof, Guardian I’d proof, Bank Details, Diploma Certificate(If any)

6. Selection Criteria -Merit Based- On the basis of a written test and a personally interview round. The written test will consist of GS( 100 objective style questions and 5 subjective question as per file syllabus of APSC AND UPSC) to be held on 16th June 2024 (Sunday) from 12 PM to 3 PM on the above 4 centres.

   The total marks of the exam will be 250 marks. Each objective based question will have 2 marks each with a negative marks of 0.50 for each wrong answer. In addition, there will be 5 subjective questions each consisting of 10 marks to be written within 150 words each.

7. Syllabusof Entrance Exam – Same as APSC 

8.  Date of Exam-16th June 2024 (Sunday)

9. Centres of Exam – KAMRUP (Metro), DIBRUGARH, DHEMAJI and GOLAGHAT, SIVSAGAR(Venue to be declared in Admit Card )
10. Admitcard issue date – 14^th June, 2024. Venue to be declared in admit card.

11. Result Declaration of Written Round – 20th June, 2024 (Thursday) on the notice boards of the above 4 centres.Students selected in the written round will have to give the final round of Interview Test in Guwahati.

12. INTERVIEW DATE -22″d and 23’d June, 2024 (Saturday & Sunday)

13. Final Result Declaration– 25th June,2024 (Monday)

14. Duration of the Course – 12 months ( 2024 – JuIy 2025)

15. Coaching programme will include a stipend for accommodation and fooding expenditure forthe students at GUWAHTI AND DELHI respectively.

16. Commencement Of Classes –28th June 2024 (Friday)

17. Venue of classes to be held in offline mode – Guwahati & Delhi
